Tilly’s house has lots of good hiding places, up high, down low and dark corners, but Tilly’s favourite spot was a hidden compartment beneath the stairs. She had all her treasures in there, but one day everything went wrong. A new soft carpet was installed and Tilly loved it at first but she couldn’t get to her compartment anymore. Tilly was crushed. She wanted some more treasures so she collected more.

Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees is about kids that think it is unfair that they can’t get what they want with there parents/grandparents money.
In this book kids that already have bought enough stuff that they already have so many things and they just want more. Like when a boy had just bought a purple panda but he saw a pink panda so he really wanted that one but he already had a purple panda but he doesn’t need that pink panda.
I like this book because it teaches you a life lesson and before I read this I was asking mum every time we went to the shop can I get this? She would just say no, do you really need that? But now after I read this book it taught me something. It taught me to never ask my Mum I can just use my own money.
I think this book will be a great book for three years and up because this book isn’t kinda easy to read book and because it can teach a lesson to young people because it can teach them a life lesson to not brag their parents and that money doesn’t go on trees.
I give this book a 8/10, because this book is a great book to learn a life lesson that you can earn money by doing chores.

Wolfie the wolf is a pretty funny character. This book is about a wolf with adventurous ideas. He wants to come across as a kind and helpful hero, but everyone judges him by his looks and sees him as the bad guy.
We enjoyed how funny this book was, for example, when the dragon saved the wolf and treated him like a pet.
The author uses a second person voice to talk directly to us as the readers so the wolf could describe what he thinks and wants, which was engaging to us. However, we didn’t enjoy that the book had a stop/start feature, where the wolf kept stopping the story because the storyline didn’t suit him.

Mostly ever day after school Karen only complains about how she has a really painful headache and it hurts her eyes when she reads or just focus so much. So her mum took a eye appointment with Dr. Gourson. But the only problem was that she didn't want glasses because she thought she would look really different and that everyone would make fun of her.
The next day when they were waiting in the doctors room Karen was really bored, but soon after the doctor came and had a look at Karen's eyes and said Karen needed glasses badly.
When Karen showed up at school with her glasses this kid named Ricky called Karen names and Karen got really mad.
