The Stone Lion by Margaret Wild
Reviewed by Lillian L. YPCC The stone lion has only one dream, to run and pounce. One snowy night when a baby is abandoned, the lion saves the baby then they become good friends. I rate this book 10/10 I would recommend this book for 11 year olds.
Goodnight Me by Andrew Daddo
Reviewed by Taliah C. WPS A little monkey is saying good night to himself. He says goodnight to his feet, his arms and his hands. Then he says goodnight to his bottom, his belly/tummy and his mouth and last his knees. then he shuts his eyes tightly and comfortably. I give this book a 9/10 because it could have more words.
Growing Crystals by Ann O. Squire
Reviewed by Dhilan D. YPCC Some things like your mum's engagement ring have crystals in them. All of the crystals are a solid, never a liquid or a gas. Crystals can be in or not in geometric shapes. I recommend this book for everybody who loves non- fiction books. I rate this book 9/10.
One Less Fish by Kim Michelle Toft
Reviewed by Riley P. WPS It was about counting down from 12 to 1. They used different fish for a different number each time. At the end there were no more fish. I give this book 5 out of 10 because it helped me with my counting.
Crocodiles and Alligators
Reviewed by Tyler. CLPS I like this book because it has a lot of facts about crocodiles and alligators and how they eat and live. They hunt for gazelles and they keep cool in the sun and they live together. Kids should read this book because it’s a really good book for kids, it has a lot of facts. I think I should give this book 5/10.
