In this book a girl named Morrigan Crow moves into the free state called Nevermoor.
Morrigan begins competing in the Wundersmith trials, and Jupiter her friend helps her along the way.
She comes across an evil Wundersmith named Ezra Squal that is turning Nevermore into a horrible place. What will Morrigan do? What will happen next?
If you like magic, fantasy and happy endings well this book is definitely for you.
I rate this book 10/10 because that it was right up my alley (which means its my type of book) and I love it because it has magic .

Mildred Hubble is a new witch at Miss Cackles academy for witches. She soon meets Ethel Hallow, her enemy who is the best in every class, while Mildred always messes things up and ends up in Miss Cackles office.
Will she ever get anything right?
I liked this book because it was funny and you never know what will happen next.
I recommend this book for 7 to 12 year old's.
I rate this book 10/10.

The Worst Witch #2: The Worst Witch Strikes Again by Jill Murphy

It is summer term and Mildred wants to try her best in getting all of her spells right and not messing up, but Mildred is told to help the new girl that is in her class.
Will Enid Nightshade help Mildred or lead her into more trouble and nearly leading her into being expelled?!
I liked this book because the new girl was always up to mischief but was also understanding.
I recommend this book for 7 to 12 year olds.

Mildred's sworn enemy Ethel Hallow turns Mildred into a frog, and while Mildred is at the pond she meets another frog that is a frog in the same way as her. Will Mildred be able to save the magical wizard?
I liked this book because it was full of surprises and fun. 
I recommend this book for 7 to 12 year olds.

The Worst Witch #4: The Worst Witch All at Sea by Jill Murphy

After saving the wizard, Mildred's form got rewarded thanks to Mildred, but Mildred isn't looking forward to going without her own cat Tabby. Soon she hatches up a plan to rescue him without getting caught. What could possibly go wrong?
I liked this book because of all the amazing ideas she has and comes up with.
I recommend this book for 7 to 12 year olds.

Mildred uses a hair growing potion after a tragic mess with Maud's (her best friends) hair curler.
A very strange teacher comes and Mildred stops this secret evil twin of Miss Cackles for the second time, saving the whole school.
Will Mildred ever get things right?!
I liked this book because she never gets anything right but has saved her entire school twice from a dangerous invasion.
I recommend this book for ages 7 to 12.

The Worst Witch #6: The Worst Witch to the Rescue by Jill Murphy

Mildred has completed the best project ever and for once her arch enemy has not got anything, so Ethel is being very nice and helps Mildred after all her stuff has fallen out of the tree, but Mildred doesn’t know...
I like how Mildred found a way to save her project and stop Ethel Hallow from stealing work that was not hers.
I recommend this book for ages 7 to 12.

Mildred Hubble is a Lantern Monitor and is doing a very good job of it.
One night she wishes upon a shooting star, and the next morning her wish comes true but not at the right time. It causes the worst trouble ever. Can she fix things in time?
I liked this book because Miss Hardbroom tried something she'd never done before and believed in herself.
I recommend this book for ages 7 to 12.
I rate this book 10/10. 

The Worst Witch #8: First Prize for the Worst Witch by Jill Murphy

Mildred is hoping to win head girl for year 5, but she doesn't get her hopes up because of Ethel.
Every year if there was a Hallow in the year level she would get head girl but could things change and break the hallow tradition.
I liked this book because it said how not everything has to go this way or another, things can change.
​I recommend this book for ages 7 to 12. 
I rate this book 10/10.

Wundersmith: The Calling of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend

In this book Morrigan Crow struggles with the challenges of becoming a Wundersmith. She wants to keep her secret. Morrigan has been told all Wundersmiths are evil, like Ezra Squall the most evil Wundersmith in history, but she is out to prove them wrong.
Morrigan works in this book to try to stop blackmail she and her classmates are getting. She makes new friends along the way while trying to stop evil.
I like this book because it has the elements of fantasy, magic and adventure.
I liked it when they were trying to stop the blackmail.
If you like the elements of fantasy, magic and adventure, this book is totally for you.

Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy by Lynley Dodd

There is a black, soft, fluffy dog named Hairy Maclary and he's from Donaldson's Dairy.
Hairy Maclary is meeting new friends on his journey, each of them different in their own way.
Their walk was a fun adventure until they come across the toughest Tom in town. Scarface Claw is a black, scary, yellow eyed cat who lets out a wail and scares Hairy Maclary and his friends. What will happen on his next adventure?
I like this book because the illustrations are AMAZING!

Whose Bum? At the Zoo by Heath McKenzie

In this book you see lots of bums from animals at the zoo, and you can guess which animal is under each flap. Wait, do snakes have bums?
I like this book because I like reading this book to my little brother and sisters. It makes us laugh.
If you like bums and zoo animals this book it's for you.

Chook Doolan: The Newest Pet by James Roy

This book is about a boy named Simon, but most of his friends call him Chook.
He has a take his pet to school.He is going to take his pet Bruce.
His best friend Joe has no pet to take in, so Simon and Joe look for a pet for Joe.
I recommend this book for year 2,3 and 4.
I rate this book a 10/10 because it made me laugh and I read this book 3 times.
