This year we welcomed back one of our favourite players, Caleb Daniel, and were introduced to newcomer, Riley Garcia.
Ballarat Mayor, Cr. Ben Taylor welcomed the 108 students from six different Ballarat primary schools to the program. This is the most participants we have had so far!

Andrew McDonald, the author of the Real Pigeons series, shared stories of writing his earliest books and so much un-Real information about pigeons.

Alicia Sometimes is a poet and a writer. She worked with Nicole Hayes to put together A Footy Girl's Guide to the Stars of 2017 showcasing some star players of the first year of the AFLW season. The students enjoyed this event, especially the poetry slam and poem about a footballer who lost his shorts.

The Bulldogs Read Program 2019 major prize winner received a Samsung Galaxy Tablet, football and a fully autographed Western Bulldogs jumper.
