Mr. Tickle by Roger Hargreaves

Picture
Reviewed by Piers W. APS
Mr. Tickle has extraordinary long arms! That long he can reach downstairs and into the kitchen cupboard for a biscuit while still lying in bed. One day he went for a walk and reached through a window and tickled a teacher again, again and again. Then he tickled a policeman, a greengrocer, a doctor, a butcher and a postman. Then went back home and laughed about all the people he’d tickled.
I give it 9/10 and recommend it for Kinder - Grade 2.

Dinosaur Sleepover by Pamela Duncan Edwards

Reviewed by Piers W. APS
Dinosaur was invited to a sleepover party, but he was very worried about it, he’d never slept away from home before. All was good though as he was so busy during the day having lots of fun, he’d tired himself out and ended up falling asleep.
This book was good to read, I recommend it for Kinder - Grade 2 and give it 7/10.

Cyclone Fever by Sally Morgan

This is a small chapter book. There is a weather alert about Cyclone Thelma and Danny and his parents don’t think a Category One cyclone is anything to worry about. Gran thinks otherwise and is in a real panic.
I recommend this book for Grades 2-4 and give it 8/10.

Superworm by Julia Donaldson

Superworm is the wriggliest, squiggliest superhero in the world! He is super-long and super-strong.
This is a nice book to read and I recommend it for Kinder - Grade 2.
I give it 8/10.

Five Minutes Peace by Jill Murphy

This book is about a family of elephants, Mr. & Mrs. Large and their children. Mrs. Large just wants a few minutes peace but the kids Lester, Laura and the baby have other ideas.
I recommend it for Kinder - Grade 2 and give it 7/10.

Diary of A Minecraft Zombie Book 17: Zombie’s Excellent Adventure by Zack Zombie

Reviewed by Piers W. APS
In this book Minecraft has gone through a major update, half of the Minecraft Overworld has disappeared. Now Zombie and Steve have to travel back in time to figure out what’s happened, but the robot army are causing trouble.
I give this 9/10 and recommend it for Grades 2-4.
