The Hunt for Ned Kelly (My Australian Story)
by Sophie Masson

Reviewed by Acacia V. APS
Ned Kelly has been at the heart of the Australian lifestyle since he and his gang were tracked down in bushland by the Victorian police and came out fighting, dressed in iron armour. When someone went to shoot him, I thought it would reflect back.  I love this book and think it is really cool for people who love history. I think people between the ages of 6-23 should read this.
I rate this book a 10/10.

This book is about Rodney the rabbit. Rodney loves drawing with his pink pen more than anything. He has lost things but nothing like his pen. This book is also like a Hide and Seek book. I found the pictures more important than the words in this book.

This book was about a new school, a new life and new friends. This is about a girl called Nikki. The popular girl was called Mackenzie. She spied on Nikki all the time. Suddenly Nikki met Zoey and Cloey, then they became best friends and they spied as well as her. They thought Mackenzie was really nice, but she wasn't. Read the book to find out more.

The is book is about a girl called Nikki Maxwell.  She goes through some tough stuff like being bullied and annoyed by a girl called Mackenzie. She enters an art competition. She is an awesome artist. She even convinced her friends, Zoey and Chloe to not go living in underground tunnels under the NYC library by bribing them with fake tattoos. Her friends made a picture of all the tattoos she had done for people and won the art competition! Mackenzie was extremely upset.
I rate this book 10/10.

The Magic Finger by Roald Dahl

Roald Dahl was a great author and one of the best of his books I have read is The Magic Finger. It’s about a girl, and her friend’s family. Her friends are called Philip and William Gregg. Their Dad and the boys go every morning to shoot birds and other precious wild life. The girl is against that stuff very much. They laugh at her. But, they don’t know the future and boy is it bad... I like this book because of the message - Don’t harm wild life!
I think this its for ages 10+ and I rate it 10 out of 10.

The Battle for Rondo by Emily Rodda

This book is my favourite book of all time. I love it, but it is also confusing which makes me like it even more. It has mystery but it also has action and it has two main characters. I love this book because of the fantasy where they can go from the real world to Rondo using a box passed down for generations. I think this book is great. Fun fact: Jennifer Rowe is Emily Rodda’s real name.
Everyone needs to read it! I rate it 10/10
