The New Adventures of Mr Toad: A Race for Toad Hall. by Tom Moorhouse

Picture
Reviewed by Charlotte B. CLPS

Three young animals, a rat, Ratty, a mole, Mo and a toad, Teejay, were playing on an old piece of rope. When it is Mo, he falls down a deep dark hole.  They find a big door in the tunnel which says Mr Toad’s Ice House. Inside is a big toad. When the toad wakes up, they take him back to Teejay’s guardian’s house.
Later, on Ms. Badger’s computer, they see that Toad Hall is being taken by Wildwood Industrious. Mr Toad makes a deal with the Chief Weasel. If Mr Toad wins the race then he can keep Toad Hall, if he loses then the Chief Weasel gets to keep Toad Hall. Who will win the race?
