Reviewed by Jonè BGS

This book is about Ella asking her mum to have a sleepover with a best friend, Zoe. Finally her mum said yes. Ella and her sister Olivia had to do chores for the whole week and clean their rooms. Zoe came over to Ella’s house for the sleepover. Then Zoe asked Ella to come with her to her horse riding lessons the next morning. Ella said she would love to come to Zoe‘s horse riding lesson. Ella and Zoe stayed up late and woke Olivia, so Olivia came to join the sleepover. Ella and Zoe had so many lollies and chocolates.  In the morning when Zoe’s dad came, Zoe woke up but Ella was still asleep so Zoe went to horse riding lessons without Ella. When Ella woke up she saw Zoe was gone, Ella was sad that Zoe went to her horse riding lessons without her. Ella had to do chores because her room was full of wrappers and they should not have had lollies.
I recommend this book  for Years 1 to 3.

This book is about Billie B. Brown playing with a ball in the park but she kicked her ball over the fence into the neighbour’s veggie garden. When she went to ask the lady if she could get the ball back the lady said it had landed in her veggie garden and destroyed her veggies so no. When Billie had her own garden her brother pulled out some plants. She thought about the lady’s veggie garden and then she surprised the lady with a greenhouse for her garden to say sorry. I learnt you should always say sorry. This book is good for Years 2 to 5. I rate this book 9 out of 10.
