Pig the Pug by Aaron Blabey

​Pig the Pug was so mean. He never shares his toys with Trevor the sausage dog, and he doesn’t share his food either.
I love this book because it is funny and give it 10/10.
​I would recommend it to anyone who loves books about dogs.

This book is about a very greedy, selfish dog. He never shares with Trevor - a sausage dog – who always asks Pig but never ever does. I think this story is about always being nice and sharing because the worst things can happen.

The Wimpy Kid's brother annoys him all summer and he doesn't like it. Will they ever get along?
I like this book because it is entertaining and I rate it 10/10.
I recommend book for people aged 7 - 10 years old, like me.

Old Tom by Leigh Hobbs

This book is about a cat that eats people, is really silly and naughty. He gets into lots of trouble and he is very funny.
I would rate this book 10/10.

This book was very interesting with a weird story. I liked it. I wanted to read this book because of its title.  The illustrations were quite cool.
 think this book would be suitable for 7 to 10 year olds.

Petey the evil cat went to the Cannery Grow store, where he stole a can of Cannery Grow and tries to take over the world. He then tries to spray his evil robot with the Cannery Grow once he got it working correctly. Meanwhile Lil Petey, Dogman and Chief come to the rescue and save the day.

I Will Surprise My Friend by Mo Willems

Gerald and Piggy are best friends. One day they see someone surprise their friend so they both think “I will surprise my friend”.  But when they do, Gerald thinks Piggie is in trouble, so he panics. Piggie thinks Gerald got hungry so left to go get something to eat, but when they go to find each other, they end up scaring each other. They then they decide that they should just play together next time.

Mopoke by Philip Bunting

This is a fun, fiction book about Mopokes.  There is a Snowpoke and a Glowpoke and lots more. My favourite was the Snowpoke. What will your favourite one be?
I recommend this book for all ages because it's funny and cute.

Ninja Kid: From Nerd to Ninja by Anh Do

Nelson was a nerd until he knew he was a ninja just like his Dad. When the Tyranno-Spiders come to his town, Nelso and his friend Kenny fight them off.
I give this book 8/10 and recommend it for 9-year-old kids.

Little Rabbit Foo Foo by Michael Rosen

I liked this book. Little Rabbit Foo Foo goes around the bush on his motorbike. He donks heaps of animals on the head including field mice and worms and tigers and the fairy godmother keeps telling Little Rabbit Foo Foo off. Then the fairy godmother turned him into a goony. I thought it was funny. The illustrations are really good and also funny.
I think kids that are 7+ would like this story. It’s a good book for little kids to read with their parents.

I liked this book. It was pretty funny. It’s a good book for little kids. It’s about a rabbit called Little Rabbit Foo Foo who goes around on his motorbike bopping animals and creatures on the head. He did this a lot, so a good fairy appears from nowhere and tells him off. The good fairy turns him into a goonie because he was being bad.
I think its recommended for 7-11 year olds.
I would give it a 7 /10 because it’s a fun read.

Mister Seahorse by Eric Carle

This book is about Mister Seahorse and all types of animals in the ocean. First, he passed Mr Stickleback who built a nest for his wife, Mrs Stickleback. Then he passed Mr Tilapia who couldn't talk because he had his mouth full of eggs. It's a fiction book, which means it's a made-up story, and is also a colourful book with special camouflage pages.
I rate it a 10/10 and recommend it for all ages.

One Sunday the little old man and the little old woman thought that their grandchildren would be coming over to visit them. While they cooked dinner there was a storm, so the little old woman thought that their grandchildren would not be coming. Instead a BEAR did! I think this is for 7 to 8-year olds and I give it a 10/10 because it was amazing!

I Have a Dog by Charlotte Lance

This book is all about a boy and a dog, who is inconvenient. Whenever he does something the dog is useless, never helpful and just annoying. By the end of the story he is less inconvenient.
I feel that this book is very funny and makes you realise what it's like to have a dog.
I thing children aged 8 years old would enjoy it and I rate it 9/10.

King Pig by Nick Bland

At the beginning of this story King Pig was so mean. He thought the sheep would like him more if he had fancier clothes, but it didn't work because he dyed them all different colours, shaved all the sheep’s wool and made them make the new clothes. At the end he gave the sheep warm clothes because they were super cold and wet.
This was a good book for all ages to learn about their mistakes.
I give it a 10/10.

Terrys Dumb Dot Story: A Treehouse Tale

 I like the Treehouse series. I love the illustrations in this book and the story was interesting.  It was about Terry and Andy writing stories and giving a tour of the treehouse.
​I think this book will be suited for 7 to 11-year-olds.

Daring Delly

Delly wants to play for the Maryborough Blazers. Delly gets up and trains every morning before school with his friends Anna and Mick. They all love basketball but sometimes Mick doesn't like basketball. Delly tries to help Mick love basketball. They have to try out for the new team. Will they make it?
I would rate this book 10/10 and recommend it for ages 7-12.

I really like Zac Power books. The book was about a boy called Zac Power who is a spy.  He goes to the beach with his family. He was the test driver for his spy company cars. The illustrations were cool, but there wasn’t very many of them.
I think this book will be suited for 7 to 10 years olds.

George is writing his book in his attic. Don't freak out! George has a weird mum. His mum makes lots of inventions and one day she blocked off the driveway with a big, big cat. One day they heard that some people moved in next door.

I think that this book was amazing it is about a boy called George and his three older sisters and their brother who was the size of a lemon and to top it all off their Mum is and inventor that make a lot of things. One of the things that she makes is a machine that can replicate things and that how the story starts.
I recommend this book for people around the ages 7-10.
I rate this book a 10/10 because it is a great fit book for a lot of people and has a great story line.

I Love this book!! It is about when Zack  Zombie (aka Zombie) swaps life with his human friend (Steve) and has to get his rotten Zombie life back before it is too late and is stuck with the miserable human life forever!
I like this book because it is entertaining and funny.
I rate this book 10/10 and recommend it for people 7 years +.

The 117-Story Treehouse by Andy Griffiths

I loved this book because it was detailed with expression and punctuation. I recommend this book for ages 8-adult. It has a lot of funny and detailed pictures that helped me understand what was happening. I enjoyed this book a lot because it taught me that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and use your imagination.

This book was great for kids. I liked how it rhymed. The book was about an animal what needed to go to the toilet really badly, but wherever he went there was no toilet. Then he went to the city zoo and there was a toilet with no people. I liked this book, I wouldn’t normally read it, but I think it was pretty good. 
I give this a 7 out of 10.
I think this book would be for 7 to 10-year olds.

Poor Lou needed the loo but there was quite a queue. The queue would not let him through.
So then he went to some bamboo trees, a boat and to a zoo. He finally found a loo and did a WEE. This is a great book. I rate it a 10/10.
I think it would be good for 7+ year olds and it would be a great book for parents to read to the kids. It’s very funny!

Squidge Dibley Destroys the Galaxy by Mick Elliot

I really liked this book because it’s based on a child who burped every time he heard a loud noise. What I also liked is that he goes to space camp and destroys the galaxy.
I would recommend this book for Grades 1-5.
I would give this book a 10-10.

The Bad Book by Andy Griffiths

The Bad Book was great because it had lots of jokes and riddles. The book was by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton. My favourite part was the jokes, they were funny and made sense unlike my brother’s jokes. It is very easy to read.
I think it is for people in Grades 2-6.
I give it a 10/10 for the jokes and pictures.

The Very Bad Book by Andy Griffiths

This book was really fun to read because it had interesting headings like “Killer Koalas from Outer Space” and “Bad MacDonald”. The book was also quite disgusting at times, like the boy who ate dead flies. That would be disgusting. 
​I really liked it, so I hope you do too.

I rate this book 9/10. 

The Elves and the Shoemaker by Rosie Greening

The shoemaker has a very basic store and there are two elves that make beautiful shoes at night. The elves came to make a pair of shoes for the shoemaker. I give this book a rating 5 /10 because it needed more descriptive language.

Real Pigeons Fight Crime by Andrew McDonald

I thought it was interesting because Rock, one of the pigeons, can dress up as anything; like a chicken or a rabbit or a cat. There are three more pigeons; one that loves breadcrumbs, one that has super strength and one that can bend into the tiniest crack ever.
I really like this book.

EJ12 Girl Hero by Susannah McFarlane

Emma Jacks is better known as EJ. EJ is 12 years old. 
EJ goes to school every day as normal, but when she gets there, she goes to the last box in the girls toilets, lifts up the toilet roll and scans the barcode on her watch.  She gets sent straight off to Sunshine Spy School.
I rate this book a 9/10 because I love the storyline, but the text was a bit too small. 
The age I would recommend it for is 8-12.

TOOCOOL: Fishing Fanatic by Phil Kettle

Fishing Fanatic is a magnificent book. My favourite part is when he caught the giant marlin in his backyard.
Kids who like reading short books about fishing will really enjoy this book.
I rate this book 6/10 and recommend it for 9 year olds.

Apollo The Powerful Owl by Gordon Winch

Apollo is an owl, a very powerful owl. He wants to change his diet because all he eats every day; every night and every morning is meat and all of the animals are scared of him. So he said to himself, ''From now on all I'm eating is anything, but not meat.'' So he ate plants and went home and didn't get sick. It's a very good book. It's colourful and it's a fiction book.
I rate it a 5/10 and I think it's good for ages 3 to 5.

Don't Look Now 2 by Paul Jennings

I think Don't Look Now 2 is a fun book to read because it has the top 10 worst ways to die. I’ll tell you one of them Ebola Virus. Oh, I forgot to tell you the most important thing about the main character, Ricky. Now Ricky is no ordinary kid, see Ricky he can fly but he can only fly when no one can see him. I reckon this was an interesting book and I hope you do to.
