PICTUREPEDIA: An Encyclopedia on Every Page
by D.K. Publishing

Picture
Reviewed by Romeo T. BGS

The Picturepedia is a book with anything you want to know. As the name suggests it’s full of pictures and has a system that’s split into groups making it easier to find things. It has different things to help you like life cycles, diagrams and timelines. My favourite part in the book was the universe/solar system because it shows some star clusters, galaxies and constellations. It shows what type of planet it is, either a rocky planet, gas giant or ice giant. Also showing how far the planet is from the sun, the planets diameter, how long the planet takes to orbit the sun and the number of moons.
I rate this book a 10/10.
People aged 7+ should read this.

Stella the Unstoppable and the School Camp Kerfuffle by Richard Newsome

Reviewed by Lily C. SCPS

Stella the Unstoppable is a good book for you if you like going on camp and being competitive. Stella loves winning. When Stella found out that there was a camp cup and a disco with pizza, Stella started to get really determined on winning that prize. The problem is that they ended up getting stuck in a cabin with Lizzie Lawless. Lizzie Lawless always makes mistakes which was bad because if they had her in their team they will never have a chance in winning the camp cup. It was a fun read.

If you are wondering what Esio Trot means, it is Tortoise spelled backwards. This story is about a man called Mr. Hoppy and a lady called Mrs. Silver. They were both neighbours. Mrs. Silver had a Tortoise named Alfie. Mr Hoppy wanted to win Mrs. Silver’s love. Mrs. Silver wanted for Alfie to grow, so Mr Hoppy came up with an idea and bought 140 tortoises that were all different sizes.
