The Adventures of Captain Underpants by Dav Pilkey
Reviewed by Jesse O'N. APS George and Harold always prank their teachers, but this time they have gone to far. They had gotten into a heap of trouble with their principal, Mr. Krupp. It was just a normal day when George and Harold were pulling off as many pranks as they could. They had ruined a football game from their pranks but their principal, Mr. Krupp, had seen them do it all on a security camera. But the boys didn’t want to get in trouble so they begged him so that he wouldn’t show it to the parents. Mr. Krupp said okay but only if they did a list of things every day until they went to high school. But they didn’t want to do that for another two years, so George looked online for something that would make him change is mind and it was a hypno-ring. The next day George and Harold walked in with huge grins on their faces and when they got called to Mr. Krupp’s office, and they had the chance, they said look deeply into this ring and you will see a picture, so he did. They said, "You are getting sleepy'" and suddenly he said, "I am in your command masters." They said whenever someone clicks their fingers you will transform into Captain Underpants and that’s how it all started. I loved this book because it was very funny. Then he saw his Dad’s suitcase and saw it had been looked into and there was a jewellery box on the ground, but nothing was in it. Cal's mum had gone out and Cal had gone for a walk to the shops. When Cal had returned his uncle and sister, Gabbi, were laying on the ground in a big pool of blood. Cal rang the ambulance and the cops, then he waited outside for them to arrive. When they got out they started to chase Cal and this is where it all started. The chase had begun. He had to hide for the rest of the year and stay low until he figured out who did this. Cal had to find a safe place to hide for the night. He also had to work hard on this Ormond Singularity. |
